About the greenhouse gas inventory project at Taya Vietnam

As part of its green development strategy and efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, Taya Vietnam took an initial step towards its commitment by conducting a greenhouse gas inventory. Taya Vietnam selected ITVC Global, a leading provider of greenhouse gas inventory services in Vietnam, as the contractor for the project.

The greenhouse gas inventory project at Taya Vietnam aims to measure and assess greenhouse gas emissions from the company’s production activities and identify solutions to reduce these emissions and their adverse environmental effects.

ITVC Global’s greenhouse gas inventory project at Taya Vietnam focuses on identifying and measuring greenhouse gases, including CO2, methane and nitrous oxide, from the company’s production processes and operations. By collecting and analysing data, ITVC Global provided specific figures for Taya Vietnam’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2022 and recommended actions to reduce emissions.

In July 2023, the greenhouse gas inventory project at Taya Vietnam was completed. The inventory report issued by ITVC Global was assessed by Korean experts and found to have high accuracy in both activity data and greenhouse gas emissions. The report’s combined uncertainty was 7.7%. This was a very good result for the investigation and calculation of greenhouse gas emissions, reflecting the consultants’ knowledge and technical skills and Taya Vietnam’s active support throughout the project.

Alongside the greenhouse gas inventory project, Taya Vietnam and ITVC Global are undertaking a product carbon footprint project. The project is expected to be completed in December 2023 and assessed by Bureau Veritas Vietnam.
