Bumjin Electronics Vina Co., Ltd. is a member of South Korea’s Bumjin Group, which specialises in technology and electronics manufacturing. In Vietnam, Bumjin Electronics Vina manufactures electronic products for leading brands such as Samsung, LG Electronics and Sony. To implement the Group’s environmental protection and sustainable development strategy, Bumjin Electronics Vina undertook a greenhouse gas inventory project. This initiative supports environmental protection and efforts to combat climate change. ITVC Global, a reputable consultancy with extensive greenhouse gas inventory experience, was selected as the contractor for the project at Bumjin Electronics Vina.

The greenhouse gas inventory project – A green step towards the future

The greenhouse gas inventory project at Bumjin Electronics Vina is a firm step forward in its environmental protection journey. Bumjin Electronics Vina recognises that manufacturing and business activities contribute to the greenhouse effect and affect the global climate. The project was therefore undertaken to monitor and manage greenhouse gas emissions from our production activities.

In December 2022, with guidance from ITVC Global’s consultants, Bumjin Electronics Vina completed the greenhouse gas inventory project. Korean experts from Samsung Group verified the project, with good results and high accuracy. Based on these results, Bumjin Electronics Vina developed a plan to manage greenhouse gas emissions and implement measures to limit or reduce them. Under the plan, the company aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions per unit of product by approximately 5–10% in 2023, contributing to green development, environmental protection and climate change mitigation.
