ITVC delivered ISO 14001:2015 interpretation and internal audit training in December 2015

On 4–5 December 2015, ITVC Global delivered ISO 14001:2015 interpretation and internal auditing training at the VCCI conference room, 464 Lach Tray Street, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong. Thirty-five participants from a range of businesses attended.

Training content

• Interpretation of ISO 14001:2015 clauses and their connection to an organisation’s environmental management system.
• Identification and evaluation of environmental aspects and the issues requiring control.
• Internal auditing practice using specific situations.
• Discussion of how to address difficulties when applying the standard.

Discussions grounded in business practice

Participants came from organisations including Pha Rung Shipbuilding, Vipco, LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong, Yoshino Denka Kogyo Vietnam, Takahata Precision Vietnam, VINAPIPE, Wanli Vietnam and Aroma Bay Candles.

Participants contributed ideas and practised audit situations. The trainer connected practical issues with the standard’s requirements to help participants understand how to apply them in their work.
