In January 2017, EICC issued version 5.1.1 of its Validated Audit Process (VAP) Operations Manual.

EICC VAP Audit Operations Manual v5.1.1 is retained as a historical reference on how facilities prepared for assessments under that edition of the VAP programme. The link in this article leads to the Auditee Preparation document.

Topics to review when preparing

  • Scope, contact persons and departments that need to participate.
  • Documents, records and information to compile.
  • Allocation of preparation tasks and checks of readiness.
  • Questions to resolve before agreeing an assessment schedule.

Consulting the archive and checking new requirements

Version 5.1.1 is retained for historical reference. When preparing for an assessment today, check RBA’s official VAP information and the documentation required for the assessment.

The responsible team should maintain a document-version register so departments do not prepare using different guidance.
