Youngbo Vina Co., Ltd., located at Lot G3, Que Vo Industrial Park, Phuong Lieu, Que Vo, Bac Ninh, is a wholly Korean-invested manufacturer of phone components, batteries and headsets. Youngbo Vina is a Tier 1 Samsung supplier and was selected as one of ten leading suppliers for an EICC compliance assessment in 2017.

Youngbo Vina selected ITVC Global to support its EICC compliance consulting project in 2017. The Korean-invested company manufactures phone components, batteries and headsets at Que Vo Industrial Park, Bac Ninh.

Implementation scope at Youngbo Vina

The project focused on integrating social responsibility requirements into management activities and factory practices:

Develop policies, procedures, rules and forms covering labour, health and safety, the environment and business ethics.
Train workers to understand EICC requirements and participate in implementation.
Communicate with relevant parties and coordinate commitments to compliance.
Conduct internal audits and supplier audits to identify matters requiring corrective action.

Project organisation and ITVC’s role

An EICC committee of 20 members was assigned to implement the activities. According to the plan published at the time, the project was expected to be completed in August 2017. ITVC supported the project team in following the agreed schedule and scope.
