About YDKV

Yoshino Denka Kogyo Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established on 28 December 2012. The Japanese company specialises in mechanical processing, metal treatment and coating, including chromium plating for automotive components.

IATF 16949 project and implementation plan

To manage the quality of products supplied to the automotive supply chain, YDKV began implementing a quality management system meeting IATF 16949:2016 requirements. The project officially started in January 2017, with certification planned after 13 months.

As part of its commitment to establishing and implementing IATF 16949, YDKV was developing its documentation, applying the five Core Tools and carrying out compliance and product-traceability activities.

With guidance from ITVC Global’s consultants, YDKV employees developed an understanding of the requirements and began establishing and implementing the system. Initial progress in understanding and developing the new system supported professional, effective product quality control, consistent with the company’s quality policy and the General Director’s approved motto: “Provide good-quality products to meet customers’ increasingly demanding requirements.”
