About the company

Sanico Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a wholly Korean-invested company manufacturing circuit boards for headphones used in technology products such as phones, headsets and tablets. After more than three years of development, Sanico had established relationships with major customers across Vietnam. In 2018, it set a target of becoming a Tier 1 supplier to Samsung Vietnam.

RBA consulting project

To meet Samsung’s requirements, Sanico launched a project to establish and implement a social responsibility management system in line with the RBA Code of Conduct.

With its experience in RBA social responsibility management system consulting, ITVC Global was selected as the project’s consultant.

The project began on 4 January 2018 and was expected to be completed in April 2018. The following images show project implementation.

Implementation activities

To implement the project, Sanico concentrated its resources on meeting RBA Code of Conduct requirements through the following activities:

• Develop documentation, including policies, procedures, rules and operational forms, relating to labour, health and safety, the environment and business ethics.
• Train all workers to understand the RBA Code and its requirements, while encouraging and requiring the participation of all employees in compliance activities.
• Communicate the RBA Code of Conduct to relevant parties and require them to join Sanico in committing to compliance.
• Assess compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct through internal audits and supplier audits.
