According to statistics from Vietnam Customs cited in the original article, Vietnam’s total merchandise import and export turnover in the second half of August 2017, from 16 to 31 August, exceeded USD 20.76 billion. This was 20.3%, or nearly USD 3.51 billion, higher than in the first half of the month.
