26 November 2014: project kick-off for consulting on the development and implementation of an integrated ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system at LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong.

5 December 2014: general awareness training on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

ITVC Global provided integrated management system consulting at LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. The scope described in the 2014 project record covered ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

Recorded implementation milestones

26 November 2014: consultants surveyed the existing management system to prepare the consulting activities.
5 December 2014: general awareness training on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 was held at the company’s office.

Awareness and interpretation training on the integrated ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 management system at LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong, delivered by ITVC Global.

Connecting environmental and occupational safety management

An integrated system helps a company address related management requirements within one implementation plan. Surveys and awareness training provide a basis for departments to agree on coordination, prepare documentation and define responsibilities.

The name OHSAS 18001 has been standardised from “OH&S 18001” in the earlier article. This is a record of activities in 2014. For a new implementation, consult the current ISO 14001 edition and ISO 45001, which replaced OHSAS 18001.
