According to the original project report, its investment capital was USD 9.5 million and it employed 500 people, primarily manufacturing automotive and motorcycle components, sewing machine head frames, and electromechanical components. The project was planned to take 12 months. By October 2019, the following activities had substantially been completed:

• Awareness training and interpretation of IATF 16949 requirements
• Training in understanding and applying the 5 Core Tools
• Internal auditing skills training
• Guidance on developing and completing system documentation
• Guidance on operating the system.

Sinchi was expected to conduct an IATF 16949 internal audit in November 2019.
