About Woosung Electronics Vietnam

Woosung Electronics Vietnam was established through an investment by Woosung Molding & Plastics, headquartered in Bucheon, South Korea. The project received its investment certificate in December 2015 and construction began in January 2016. Its USD 34 million factory occupies 30,000 square metres at Lot K2, Trang Due Industrial Park, Hong Phong Commune, An Duong District, Hai Phong.

Supported by its parent company’s technology and experience in electronic, mobile phone and automotive components, the factory began operating in July 2016. At the time of the original report, cumulative output had reached 36 million phone housings and components.

With its “Zero defects” motto, the company strives for quality in every product, building customer trust through innovation and customer satisfaction.

The IATF 16949 project at Woosung Electronics Vietnam

In November 2021, ITVC Global was selected to provide five Core Tools training to help Woosung Electronics Vietnam implement its IATF 16949 system in a practical and effective way.

Following the four-day course, members of the company’s cross-functional team (CFT) had strengthened their knowledge of the five Core Tools to support the highest product quality.

ITVC Global successfully delivered the project, drawing on its IATF 16949 consulting knowledge and experience. The training received positive feedback from the customer.
