Job description

Carry out inspections assigned by the supervisor.

Take primary responsibility for the inspections performed.

Maintain an overall view of the work to ensure smooth execution and minimise incidents.

Work on site and coordinate with the relevant parties to understand the work plan.

Carry out inspections assigned by the Head of Inspection.

Understand the inspection plan and complete the preparations before each assignment.
-
Use the personal protective equipment required for each job, such as safety footwear, helmet, protective clothing, safety harness, goggles and mask, together with the relevant inspection equipment and tools.

Meet the assignment requirements, follow the inspection procedures and update relevant information before starting fieldwork.

Report incidents affecting inspection quality and request guidance from the supervisor.

Hand over all work, records, tools and equipment for ongoing field inspections to another surveyor when reassigned or when unavoidable personal circumstances prevent continuation.

After completing fieldwork, prepare the report and draft inspection certificate at the company office.

Report inspection results to the direct manager.

Be available for business travel when required.

Follow the company’s planning and reporting requirements and templates.

Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

The original vacancy specified male candidates with a college diploma or higher in a technical discipline.

Three years of experience in inspection.

Knowledge of cargo loss and damage surveying is an advantage.

Ability to perform inspections independently or as part of a team.
-
Good communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
-
English proficiency at Level B under the classification used in the original notice.

Proficiency in office software, including MS Word and MS Excel.
