Chemical composition

The first concern about the chemical composition of the ore is the iron content. The higher the iron content of the ore, the higher the efficiency of iron smelting. For example: To make one ton of pig iron in a blast furnace, only about 1.47 tons of ore containing 68% Fe is needed, while it takes 4 tons of ore containing 25% Fe. At present, people also take the indicator of iron content contained in primary ore to assess the richness and poverty of the ore. For rich ore when the iron content in the ore reaches over 60%, the average ore is 50-60%, less than 50% is poor iron ore.
