2. Energy surveys

ITVC Global offers a free energy survey service to help businesses quickly assess energy use and management and identify potential savings.

The business completes the data collection questionnaire.

Step 2: Conduct a facility survey, typically over one day

3. Detailed energy audits

A detailed energy audit provides a comprehensive assessment of energy use and improvement opportunities.

Under the energy efficiency law, designated energy users must carry out a mandatory energy audit every three years.

Main steps in a detailed energy audit

1. Plan the audit; prepare personnel, equipment and questionnaires.
2. Collect data on energy consumption and management; review energy-using equipment and production systems.
3. Inspect the site and prepare a measurement plan.
4. Carry out the planned measurements.
5. Analyse energy consumption patterns and efficiency in detail.
6. Develop feasible energy-saving measures.
7. Evaluate the economics of proposed energy-saving projects.
8. Prepare an implementation schedule.
9. Prepare the detailed energy audit report.

Indicative duration

• On-site work: approximately 7–10 days, divided into 2–3 visits.
• Overall audit duration: approximately 45–60 days.

Timing is agreed according to facility size, equipment and audit scope.
