WRAP for manufacturing facilities

Apparel buyers and brands increasingly expect evidence of responsible factory practices. ITVC Global provides consulting and training to help facilities improve social compliance and prepare for assessment. WRAP makes certification decisions through its own programme and accredited monitoring arrangements.

Certification and the value of WRAP

A WRAP certificate helps demonstrate a facility’s commitment to lawful, ethical and responsible manufacturing, respectful treatment of workers and awareness of environmental impacts. The certificate applies to the certified facility and does not remove the need for ongoing compliance or customer due diligence.

From 1 March 2026, WRAP stopped issuing new two-year Platinum certificates and removed Gold/Platinum levels from new certificates. New compliance certificates are annual; existing Platinum certificates remain valid until their stated expiry.

Training: putting knowledge into practice

Training helps factory personnel apply social compliance concepts in everyday operations and understand WRAP’s 12 Principles. ITVC tailors training and improvement support to the facility’s needs; participation alone does not guarantee certification.

Internal auditor training

Designed for people with a basic understanding of auditing, this course develops a foundation for social compliance assessment and for implementing an internal compliance programme.

Fire safety training

Topics include how fires start and spread in factories, risk-reduction measures, human behaviour during a fire and effective emergency response, with practical and interactive demonstrations. Course language, local requirements and exercises are agreed for each assignment.
