WRAP for brands and buyers

Apparel supply chains span borders, local customs, legal systems, economies and business traditions. Maintaining supply-chain integrity requires time, funding and people. WRAP can support a more efficient approach to social compliance verification within that broader work.

Certification supporting supply-chain integrity

WRAP certification focuses on individual manufacturing facilities, allowing on-site assessment of actual factory practices. It does not certify a brand or an entire ownership group. Facilities must maintain compliance and may undergo unannounced post-certification audits. Certification status and expiry should be verified for each site.

From 1 March 2026, WRAP stopped issuing new two-year Platinum certificates and removed Gold/Platinum levels from new certificates. New compliance certificates are annual; existing Platinum certificates remain valid until their stated expiry.

Training: putting knowledge into practice

ITVC Global offers social compliance training for apparel supply chains, from implementing responsible workplace practices to focused topics such as fire safety. Content is agreed according to the needs of buyers and manufacturing facilities.

Internal auditor training

For personnel with basic auditing knowledge, the course develops social compliance assessment skills and supports implementation of a facility’s own compliance programme.

Fire safety training

The course covers how fires start and spread, ways to reduce fire risks, human behaviour in emergencies and effective response, including practical and interactive demonstrations. Language, local requirements and delivery arrangements are confirmed for each assignment.
