WCA stands for Workplace Condition Assessment — in other words, a workplace conditions assessment program

The Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA) program provides a practical, cost-effective solution for manufacturers and businesses seeking to improve workplace conditions efficiently, supporting compliance with current industry standards and good manufacturing practices. WCA was developed as part of the Global Social Compliance Programme (GSCP), which is recognized by many retail associations worldwide.

Designed as a web-based program, WCA draws on Intertek’s extensive knowledge and understanding of social responsibility. It provides a comprehensive tool for assessing, benchmarking and monitoring factory working conditions. WCA offers an effective framework for continuous factory improvement through targeted training and measures to address outstanding issues.
