The basic steps to build up and achieve a Food Safety Management System (FSMS):

-       Training on awareness and requirements of ISO 22000;

-       Appointment food safety team and team leader;

-       Evaluate the difference between the current management system with the requirements of ISO 22000:2005;

-       Planning and setting up system to remove the differences (if any);

-       Apply FSMS;

-       Contact Certification Body (CB) to audit and certification
