Mango Code of Conduct Requirements

Mango requires its suppliers to conduct their operations responsibly, and to make every effort to protect people and the environment. Mango is committed to doing so in a sustainable manner that respects people and the environment, while adhering to high standards of business integrity. We strongly believe that this is the only way that Mango and its suppliers can continue to be successful in the long term.


Mango's CSR Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct is based on the principles and philosophy of the global United Nations as well as the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations on the rights of the child. Likewise, all conventions and recommendations of the International Labor Organization (ILO) are included.

1. Child labor

According to the criteria observed in the ILO conventions, manufacturers will not use child labor. Mango's policy towards underage workers is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

2. Forced and Compulsory Labor

Manufacturers will not use forced or compulsory labor of any kind.

3. Health and safety at work

Manufacturers will guarantee their employees a safe (fire protection, machinery etc.) and healthy (lighting, ventilation, sanitary conditions, etc.) applicable law in this regard. They will also ensure that these conditions are extended where possible to all employees.

Manufacturers will comply with applicable laws and regulations in their industry regarding working hours. Overtime will always be voluntary and appropriately compensated.

8. Sales

Manufacturers will ensure that wages strictly comply with all laws. Similarly, the legal minimum wage would be considered the legal minimum, but not the recommended wage.

9. Sign up

Manufacturers can only carry out production in authorized and inspected factories by Mango.

10. Environment

All manufacturing operations will be carried out respecting the environment and in compliance with laws and regulations as planned. All manufacturers must agree to Mango's commitment to restrictions on chemical products.

11. Comply with applicable laws

Manufacturers must also comply with applicable law in all terms that do not include the points above
