Machinery and production-line integration assessment

A production line may be supplied by one manufacturer or assembled from equipment made by several manufacturers. Design engineers select compatible equipment to create an integrated line. To assess whether machinery imported for an industrial project forms a coordinated production line, ITVC Global provides machinery and production-line integration assessment.

1. Purpose

• Assess the integration of imported machinery as a basis for buyers, sellers and related parties to accept the equipment and close out purchase contracts.
• Provide technical evidence for customs and import-duty assessment. Integration of a production line does not by itself guarantee an import-duty exemption; eligibility depends on the project, goods, documentation and applicable rules.
• Support regulatory requirements during the import or export of machinery and equipment.

Service scope

1. Review import documentation: bills of lading, packing lists, purchase contracts, design documents and equipment specifications.
2. Inspect packaging, labels, quantities, types and condition of the components of the production line during import.
3. Supervise equipment installation.
4. Witness equipment commissioning and test runs.
5. Assess compatibility and coordination in speed, power, throughput and other technical parameters.
6. Photograph the inspection process.
7. Prepare an inspection report and issue the inspection certificate covering the integration assessment.
