Hazardous waste source master book is one of the indispensable environmental records for a business operating related to waste such as paint, viscosity, acid ... So that the Department of Natural Resources and Environment can control the amount of waste that the company emits in order to take timely remedies.

The subjects must make a master book of hazardous waste sources:

- Organizations and individuals doing business in the territory of Vietnam own and operate production and trading establishments arising and managing hazardous solid wastes.

- The facility has started construction and is in the preparation stage, has completed the preparation stage and is in the construction stage, has not registered the master book of hazardous waste sources.

Registration process:

- Survey the operation situation, production scale, environmental status at the facility.

- Determine the composition and volume of production materials.

- The impact of waste on the environment.

- Identify the source and volume of waste generated, other wastes in the production process.

- Measures to prevent and minimize the generation of hazardous waste.

- Classification of hazardous wastes. Determine the registration code of hazardous wastes according to the list.

- Develop measures and procedures for preventing emergency response to incidents caused by hazardous waste.

- Make procedures and dossiers for registration of waste source owners for enterprises.

- Submit it to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
