C. ETHICS

D1) Integrity in business

• D1.1 There is no risk of determining that employees/workers who refuse to engage in bribery, corruption, extortion, and embezzlement or who have declared conflicts of interest are not dismissed, subject to penalties or other negative consequences even if this action may lead to businesses losing jobs.

D2) No improper advantage

• D2.1 There is no risk of bribery or undue or improper advantage being promised, provided, authorized, given, or received. Appropriate investigation and sanctions when there are violations.

D3) Information disclosure

• D3.1 Do not identify the risk of false reporting, falsified records, or concealment of information

D4) Intellectual property

• D4.1 No identified risk of intellectual property or loss of business information or unauthorized disclosure (inspected organizations own this right and belong to the customer/supplier)

D5) Fair business, advertising and competition

• D5.1 The risk of reporting inaccurate information to the public is not identified

• D5.2 No collusion risk identified

D6) Protect your identity and do not retaliate

• D6.1 Have ways in place to confidentially report suspected ethical misconduct to employees and employees of suppliers

• D6.2 Retaliation risk is not identified

D7) Privacy

• D7.1 Do not identify the risk of unauthorized disclosure of personal information

D8) Responsible mining of minerals

• D8.1 An adequate and effective conflict-free sourcing policy and program should be implemented to reasonably ensure that purchases of 3TG minerals are not directly or indirectly financially linked or are involved with an armed group that is the perpetrator of serious human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.
