Issue instructions for applying TCVN 9001:2015, TCVN ISO 14001:2015

Accordingly, on December 31, 2015, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced national standards TCVN ISO 9001:2015 and TCVN ISO 14001:2015. These TCVNs are accepted and equivalent to international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

To ensure stable production and business activities and create favorable conditions for agencies and organizations, they have been applying TCVN ISO 9001:2008 and TCVN ISO 14001:2010, based on reference to the General Instructions on Converting and applying ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), the Ministry of Science and Technology guides as follows:

- Organizations, individuals, and businesses can continue to voluntarily apply the national standard TCVN ISO 9001:2008 until September 30, 2018, and TCVN ISO 14001:2010 until September 14, 2018.

- In addition, encourage organizations, individuals, and businesses to convert and apply TCVN ISO 9001:2015 and TCVN ISO 14001:2015 if needed and meet all necessary conditions.

- For agencies and organizations belonging to the state administrative system, the application of the appropriate version of TCVN ISO 9001 is carried out according to Decision 19/2014/QD-TTg dated March 5, 2014, of the Prime Minister Government.
